CIM's annual student marketing competition, The Pitch, launched last week. News of the competition generated a significant buzz and was featured in several key industry publications. This year's competition challenges aspiring marketers to respond to a real-world marketing brief. The competition provides students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) with the chance to showcase their talents and enhance their employability.
“The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is on a mission to show students how rewarding a marketing career can be through its global competition, The Pitch.
"Now in its 14th year, undergraduate and postgraduate students worldwide studying marketing, or a business degree with a marketing module, are being asked to respond to a pitch from Dogs Trust to develop a marketing plan to grow participation of the Companion Club, the charity’s membership scheme.”

Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and normally cares for around 14,000 dogs across its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin.
